Continuous Improvement Engineer

As part of our expansion in France, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer. You will join the Operational Performance & Improvement division of our client, a leading aerospace company, as an industrial performance improvement consultant.
 

We can count on you here

  • Your various tasks will focus on identifying and implementing concrete improvements to ensure that aircraft are delivered on time and to the required quality standards, while optimizing resource utilization.
  • You will work closely with our clients' teams to monitor progress/delays and workload/capacity.
  • Our experts will provide you with daily support, whether in terms of methods and tools, or more specifically in project management.
  • For example, you will be required to balance lines taking into account operational feedback, or support workstations in the deployment of Lean standards and routines.
  • You will proactively participate in analysis, such as VA/NVA, and in the development of action plans.
  • You will assist and then lead the management of the projects entrusted to you, as well as steering committees and daily progress meetings.
  • With the project team, you will ensure that analyses are properly validated, action plans are progressing, and, above all, implementation is being measured. To do this, you will deploy and maintain progress KPIs.

Your profile

  • Experience in aeronautics desirabl
  • Interest in improvement topics
  • Comfortable with IT tools and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides)
  • Pragmatic, field-oriented
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication and presentation skills, diplomatic and persuasive
  • Knowledge of Lean and AOS tools would be a plus
  • Knowledge of IBM, MTM, SAP, Shop, and AVL2 tools would be a plus
  • Fluency in French (negotiation) and English (good level), German would be a plus
  • Team spirit, sociable
  • Proactive, curious, able to generate ideas
  • Independent and organized
  • Adaptability, ability to embrace change
